TUMANDOK CRAFTS INDUSTRIES ( TCI ) is a dynamic handicraft company based in Negros Occidental Philippines, which began as a trading firm in October 17, 1988 at the height of the sugar industry crisis. In response to the dire situation of displaced sugar workers, the firm provided alternative employment as the call to diversify besides staple sugar production became a pressing need.

In her continual desire to help fellow Negrenses, the sole owner and general manager Ms. Josephine T. Locsin pushed the venture beyond selling handcrafted products. She established her own Lamination Factory in April 7, 1997 at Barangay Central Ma-ao Bago City with the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry. With only twelve workers , and an initial capital of fifty-thousand pesos (Php 50,000.) Tumandok Crafts Industries began penetrating global markets in its innovative manufacturing of laminated gifts and houseware products made from indigenous materials.

By 1998 TUMANDOK CRAFTS INDUSTRIES doubled its workforce with the rapid product acceptance in both domestic and foreign markets. The rising demand for laminated products in the export market pushed Tumandok Crafts to open a sub-factory in April 7, 1999 at Greenplains Subdivision, Bacolod City to support the Ma-ao, Bago City operations with an initial working force of only fifteen ( 15 ) employees. In less than a year of operating in Bacolod, the need arose to further expand its factory size and workforce. In July of 2000, Ma-ao workers were merged with the Bacolod group in order to have a centralized operation. More workers were hired to fill up various positions.

Despite a major setback in May 2003, when the factory was razed by fire, Tumandok Crafts Industries transferred six months later in November of the same year to its permanent three-thousand sq.meter factory site in Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, just 20 minutes south of Bacolod City. To date, it has a workforce of 80 workers / personnel 75% comprised by skilled workers. It has proudly realized its vision to set up satellite factories in rural and urban areas through the transformation of its diligent workers to enterprising subcontractors.
